Sysco Going Green is among the first in the foodservice industry to take action in preserving our environment. It holds an active role in conservation of the Earth's wellness. Nearly ten years ago, Sysco created the Earth Plus line of earth-friendly products as a collection of biodegradable disposables. Later, the line of earth-friendly products was expanded to include ecological cleaning supplies as well while minimizing negative effects on the Earth and its ecosystems. Sysco Going Green continues to utilize an integrated approach in waste management including streamlining production to conserve energy and natural resources.
